Abrahão Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Mr. Abrahão holds a Black Belt in Judo, as well as a Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under Master Ricardo de la Riva - the only person to beat two Gracies in a single day of competition. Mr. Abrahão's Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt is sanctioned by the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation. Originally from Florianopolis, Brazil, Mr. Abrahão was the South Brazilian Champion for 3 years, Santa Catarina Champion for 3 years, and a State Judo Champion for 5 years. Master Schreiber's ATA Martial Arts is licensed to teach the Abrahão Jiu-Jitsu curriculum to both children and adults. (See our schedule for class times.) We are proud to offer our members training in Heitor Abrahão's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu curriculum, which was developed specifically for ATA Martial Arts schools. Like the ATA's Songahm Taekwondo curriculum, training in Abrahão Jiu-Jitsu is structured to facilitate incremental progress. There are clear standards for the knowledge and skills that students are expected to develop at each rank, and the curriculum is designed to enable them to meet these standards through consistent training. Classes emphasize safety and respect.
